The landmark PBS series called "Craft In America," premiered on May 30th at 8 PM.  All three one hour programs -- focusing on memory, landscape, and community -- were shown in one evening.  A traveling museum exhibition starts soon [ending at the Fuller in 2009], and the book is due out in the Fall from Random House.  Darwall gave an on-camera interview at the Smithsonian Show last April which has been included, and took part in some exciting panel discussions during the Baltimore Craft Show spring 2007.   You can see a 9 minute preview on the web at www.craftinamerica.org.
